Vol. 01  ·  A Unipeg homage on Robinhood Chain

Catpeg

CPEG

The thesis

A new kind of on-chain object. Not an NFT. Not a token in the conventional sense.

01

Catpeg begins with Unipeg, the Uniswap v4 hook collection that renders on-chain unicorns from swap activity. Unipeg showed what a v4 hook really is: custom logic running directly at the point of exchange, not wrapped around it or bolted on top. Catpeg is a homage to that idea.

02

The mechanic is the same. A custom v4 hook renders a unique 24x24 collectible entirely on-chain, no external storage, no IPFS. Each image is tied to a specific integer amount of CPEG, 1, 2, 3 and so on. When a swap occurs, the hook rolls fresh entropy from the trade itself.

03

That entropy is the input. The on-chain renderer reads it and assembles a unique pixel object. Where Unipeg draws unicorns, Catpeg draws cats. The appearance is a function of market activity: every trade produces a new seed, and that seed is what gets rendered.

04

The difference is the home. Unipeg lives on Ethereum. Catpeg takes the same premise to Robinhood Chain, the same rule enforced at the point of exchange, which is precisely what a v4 hook is.

Unipeg  +  Robinchain  =  Catpeg

Same premise, a different animal, a new chain. All credit to Unipeg for the original idea.
